Help students build communication, independence, and daily living skills during the school day. You’ll provide one-to-one ABA support under the supervision of a licensed BCBA and work with school and clinical teams to follow each student’s plan.

What you’ll do

  • Implement treatment goals and behavioral strategies developed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Help students practice new skills and replacement behaviors identified in their plans.
  • Support daily living and personal care routines, which may include toileting and hygiene.
  • Collect data during sessions and complete required documentation.
  • Communicate with the BCBA and school team about student progress.
  • Attend required team meetings and training.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.
  • The ability to follow individualized plans and document services accurately.
  • Willingness to travel to assigned sites within the service area, which may be 15–60 minutes away.
  • Reliable internet access for required remote meetings or documentation; a work iPad is provided.

Preferred qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or a related field; or an associate degree or two years of related undergraduate study.
  • Comparable related work experience may be considered in place of a degree, depending on the assignment’s requirements.
  • ABA experience or active RBT certification is highly preferred. Relevant experience and credentials will be considered when determining pay within the posted range.
